Cursillo #165 – October 20 – 23, 2011

Hebrews12:1-2
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

As we are approaching the weekend for Cursillo #165, I am filled with excitement and anticipation of what our Lord will do through the team that He assembled to lead those He has chosen into the fourth day. As well as for those He has prepared to receive them. Together we will serve our Lord in raising up and releasing leaders to do kingdom work. What an incredible opportunity to bring glory to our Lord God Almighty.

Let us be reminded that we are the body, each with a purpose for kingdom work. While we are named as team #165, without the extended team which includes all of you we cannot be complete in all that we are being asked to do. Additionally let’s remember that many have gone before us to prepare the way for this very weekend. Scripture tells us…”a great cloud of witnesses…”

In preparation for this work, the team has been asked to release anything that could hinder them from the work the Lord has prepared for us during this time. We ask the same thing of the fourth day team. Together we run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
